2008 World of Warcraft Arena Tournaments Announced

We have some exciting news to share with the world's most skilled Arena System combatants. This year's regional World of Warcraft Arena Tournaments will feature two sets of qualification rounds played out on special tournament realms in each region. These rounds will culminate in live regional and world finals events, with a mooncloth bag's worth of cash up for grabs... to the tune of a total prize package of more than $200,000.

Season One Arena Tournament Concludes

With the championship of the 5v5 Arena finals awarded at BlizzCon, the Arena Tournament for Season One has officially concluded. Congratulations to the victors, we lose cuz Daorok sux! The Arena Hall of Fame: Season One

The Arena Hall of Fame recognizes the best teams of each Arena season – those teams who finished in the top 0.5% of their team bracket in each battlegroup. These teams and their members have been permanently enshrined in a special Hall of Fame section of the Armory. In addition, every team member who played in at least 20% of his or her team's total games also receives an armored Netherdrake mount and a special title as trophies.
Arena 2v2 CGS Ladder Stage Concluded

The ladder stage of the Arena 2v2 Championship Gaming Series has concluded. The five top-ranking teams from each battlegroup will be invited to participate in the upcoming qualifier round of the tournament set to run July 10-17. Teams will compete for a chance to win an entry spot for the live World of Warcraft CGS arena tournament at BlizzCon. Good luck to all of the participating teams!
Blizzard European Regional Finals Conclude!

The first European Championship of the World of Warcraft Arena, and the European Regional finals of the fifth Warcraft III Battle.net Season concluded in Hamburg today. After many exciting matches these players and teams managed to defeat all opposition to win their trip to the Global Finals at BlizzCon:

European Regional Finals Coming!

The European Regional Finals are fast approaching! From June 22 to 24 you can witness the excitement of Player vs Player action at the highest level. Join us at the Congress Center in Hamburg to watch the best eight European World of Warcraft Arena teams fight for the very first time for the title of European Champion and a ticket to the Global Finals at the BlizzCon in August.

At this event you won't only be witnessing Arena matches: the Warcraft III Battle.net Season 5 tournament is coming to an end as well and renowned players like ToD, the winner of this year's Worldwide Invitational, will compete in world-class matches with seven other amazing players for the European Championship. Three days of tense competitive gaming await you!

US Regional Finals: World of Warcraft and Warcraft III

The World of Warcraft and Warcraft III American regional finals will be held at the House of Blues on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3 in San Diego, California. Players will compete for cash prizes and a chance to attend the global finals at BlizzCon 2007. Check out the World of Warcraft and Warcraft III brackets to see who's playing who. If you are in the area, come and watch some epic competition. The event begins at 11 a.m. and admission is free.

We have invited the eligible participants from the qualifying teams and notified them of their chance to advance in the tournament.
