	2008 World of Warcraft Arena Tournaments Announced 02-27-2008
	We have some exciting news to share with the world's most skilled Arena System combatants. This year's regional World of Warcraft Arena Tournaments will feature two sets of qualification rounds played out on special tournament realms in each region. These rounds will culminate in live regional and world finals events, with a mooncloth bag's worth of cash up for grabs... to the tune of a total prize package of more than $200,000. 	Arena Tournament Update 10-15-2007
	We'd like to thank everyone who followed or participated in our first World of Warcraft Arena Tournament. We're actively preparing for future events and will be announcing more details at a later date. Please be sure to check here for any updates, and keep your PvP skills sharp for the next event!

	Season One Arena Tournament Concludes 7-09-2007
	With the championship of the 5v5 Arena finals awarded at BlizzCon, the Arena Tournament for Season One has officially concluded. Congratulations to the victors, we lose cuz Daorok sux! 	The Arena Hall of Fame: Season One 7-11-2007
	The Arena Hall of Fame recognizes the best teams of each Arena season – those teams who finished in the top 0.5% of their team bracket in each battlegroup. These teams and their members have been permanently enshrined in a special Hall of Fame section of the Armory. In addition, every team member who played in at least 20% of his or her team's total games also receives an armored Netherdrake mount and a special title as trophies.

	Arena 2v2 CGS Ladder Stage Concluded 7-3-2007
	The ladder stage of the Arena 2v2 Championship Gaming Series has concluded. The five top-ranking teams from each battlegroup will be invited to participate in the upcoming qualifier round of the tournament set to run July 10-17. Teams will compete for a chance to win an entry spot for the live World of Warcraft CGS arena tournament at BlizzCon. Good luck to all of the participating teams!

	Blizzard European Regional Finals Conclude! 6-24-2007
	The first European Championship of the World of Warcraft Arena, and the European Regional finals of the fifth Warcraft III Battle.net Season concluded in Hamburg today. 	European Regional Finals Coming! 6-18-2007
	The European Regional Finals are fast approaching! From June 22 to 24 you can witness the excitement of Player vs Player action at the highest level. Join us at the Congress Center in Hamburg to watch the best eight European World of Warcraft Arena teams fight for the very first time for the title of European Champion and a ticket to the Global Finals at the BlizzCon in August. At this event you won't only be witnessing Arena matches: the Warcraft III Battle.net Season 5 tournament is coming to an end as well and renowned players like ToD, the winner of this year's Worldwide Invitational, will compete in world-class matches with seven other amazing players for the European Championship. Three days of tense competitive gaming await you!

	Blizzard American Regional Finals 6-4-07
	The final games of the North American World of Warcraft and Warcraft III regionals concluded yesterday with some great and exciting matches. The winners in ranking order are: Warcraft III Finalists: (View final bracket and replays) 1st - mTw-nilk 2nd - mTw-KiWi 3rd - mTw-PaTo World of Warcraft Finalists: (View final bracket) 1st - The HUKHUKHUKHUKHUKS 2nd - We lose cuz Daorok sux 3nd - Power Trip Congratulations to the World of Warcraft finalists and to Nilk and KiWi who have qualified to the next stage of the tournament at Blizzcon! 	US Regional Finals: World of Warcraft and Warcraft III 5-30-07
	The World of Warcraft and Warcraft III American regional finals will be held at the House of Blues on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3 in San Diego, California. Players will compete for cash prizes and a chance to attend the global finals at BlizzCon 2007. Check out the World of Warcraft and Warcraft III brackets to see who's playing who. If you are in the area, come and watch some epic competition. The event begins at 11 a.m. and admission is free.

	After two months of fierce Arena Tournament competition, the second qualification round has arrived. We have invited the eligible participants from the qualifying teams and notified them of their chance to advance in the tournament. 	What is the World of Warcraft Arena Tournament? The World of Warcraft Arena Tournament is a tournament based on the Arena System in World of Warcraft. All teams participating in the 5-vs-5 Arena matches will be competing for a spot to play at live events and win prizes. The tournament will consist of two qualifying rounds, followed by live regional tournaments, and will conclude at a global final event. What are Arena Teams? Arena Teams are groups of players who choose to fight together in Arena Ladder matches. You must be level 70 to create or join an Arena Team. There are two types of Arena matches: rated battles and practice battles (skirmishes) Rated battles count toward your team’s ranking in the current Arena Tournament, and you must be a member of an Arena Team to participate. Practice battles will not affect your team’s ranking. Your team will obtain a ranking by playing at least 10 rated battles a week How do I make an Arena Team? Arena teams are created in the same fashion that guilds in the game are created. Special Arena NPCs called Arena Promoters are in various main cities like Ironforge, Orgrimmar, and Gadgetzan. Talking to an Arena Promoter is like talking to a Guild Master NPC. You purchase an Arena charter based on the type of Arena matches you wish to play, with the cost depending on the size of team (80g for 2-vs.-2, 120g for 3-vs.-3, 200g for 5-vs.-5), and then have the appropriate number of players sign that charter. Once the charter is complete, return it to the Arena Promoter and your team will be created. Once created, you can compete with your fellow teammates in your respective battlegroup. How many team members do I need for the tournament? The tournament will use the 5-vs.-5 format only. So you need at least five members including yourself.
