Player Calendar

Player Calendar

What is the functionality of the Armory's Player Calendar?

The functionality is detailed on our Updates page. It includes the ability to view your characters’ recurring and player-created events in an interface replicated from the one in-game. In addition, you can respond to invitations to player-created events – which will then take effect in-game.

How do I access the Player Calendar on the Armory?

Simply click the new “Calendar” tab on your character profile. This will take you to a login screen where you must enter your World of Warcraft account name and password. Alternately, you can log in directly from any Armory page using the login fields on the top right of the screen, and then access the Calendar tab.

Why do I have to log in to view my character's calendar?

As with Guild Banks, the calendar is a login-protected feature of the Armory since it is comprised of information that is not ordinarily in “public” view.

Can I respond to events on the Armory?

Yes, you can respond to invitations to player-created events. If your character responds to an event on the Armory, the changes will take effect in-game.

Can I view calendars of other characters?

Once you are logged in to the Armory, you can view the calendars of the other characters on the same World of Warcraft account. Click on the redesigned profile menu on the top right of the Armory, and select the character you wish to view from the drop-down menu. You cannot view calendars of characters that are not on your account. Refer to the Armory Login FAQ for more details on the redesigned character profile menu.

Can I create events with the Armory?

No, you cannot create new events using the Armory’s Player Calendar. That functionality is reserved for the in-game player calendar.
