What is the Arena Hall of Fame?
The Hall of Fame recognizes the best teams of each Arena Ladder season – those teams that finished in the top 0.5% of their team bracket in each battlegroup. Their achievements are recorded here for all to see at the end of each season.
What are the eligibility requirements for Hall of Fame inclusion?
To be enshrined in the Hall of Fame, an arena team must have:
- finished in the top 0.5% of their team bracket in their battlegroup (Gladiator rank)
- played at least 20 games throughout the season
- at least one member who played in 20% or more of the total games for that team
In addition, a given team member must have participated in at least 20% of the team’s total matches to be included in that team’s Hall of Fame roster (as well as receive the other end-of-season awards).
When is Hall of Fame eligibility determined?
Hall of Fame eligibility is determined at the end of each Arena season. The team profiles are snapshots of that team’s roster, rating, ranking, and win-loss record at the end of the season.
Why are there some members missing from a given Hall of Fame team roster?
A given team member must have participated in at least 20% of the team’s total matches to be included in that team’s Hall of Fame roster.
How are the teams arranged?
Like the Arena ladders, the teams are arranged by battlegroup and team type in the Hall of Fame.
What are the team rank requirements for the end-of-season Arena titles?
At the conclusion of each Arena season, team members who played in at least 20% of a highly-ranked Arena team’s matches for the season are eligible for special titles commemorating their achievement. These titles persist through the following season. Here are the special titles along with their ranking thresholds:
- Vengeful Gladiator: 1st place team in each bracket
- Gladiator: Top 0.5%
- Duelist: 0.5% - 3%
- Rival: 3% - 10%
- Challenger: 10% - 35%
